I like to think these driftwood candleholders kind of embody the Japanese aesthetic principle of Wabi-sabi. The idea that something that's imperfect can have an inherent beauty to it. I make these from pieces of driftwood that are too large or bulky to incorporate into my other work. Each piece is unique and the dimensions and type of wood will vary.
