Both my dad and my grandfather worked with wood, so it was probably inevitable that I'd come around to it, as well. The things I create are definitely influenced by where I live. They're inspired by nature, the ocean and finding beauty in the worn, distressed and rust scarred pieces of wood I collect on the beach. I'm drawn to the "ugly" stuff. There's a sense of satisfaction for me in taking those treasures from the tide and putting them together in a different context to create something new and unique.

If there's a project you have in mind or a piece of work you'd like to discuss you can contact me here.
